That’s a big number. There have been so many stories about the IPhone and ads revolving the IPhone (including spoofs) that the readers are already aware about-

Apples strategy for the IPhone is great.
Even in the MacWorld conference only Steve Jobs used the cell. No one has touched it. They could have just launched like any other phone is launched but apple has done something better, by not allowing any user to touch the product and giving detail of the product saying how “cool” it is just entices the usres. Just look at this video and you are bound to get excited atleast for the 1st 2min when he (Steve Jobs) is launching the IPhone.

The apple stock took a flight upwards when Steve Jobs announced the launch of the IPhone at the Mac World conference in January. At a point in the day the apple stock was up over 7%. Competitor Research in Motion (Blackberry) was down over 6% , wiping $2 billion dollars in market cap off the table. Palm, maker of the Treo, is also down, nearly 6% .

There was a rumor about the IPhone and Leopard operating system launches would be seriously delayed. They based the story on an internal Apple email that was forwarded to them. Well the stock took a big hit during the day. see the pic below.

Well there were sellers on eBay selling the IPhone that would be available only after 29th June but recently eBay also put a stop to the sellers as previously they sellers have not been able to complete the service of To Be Launched products.
A lot of accessories are available right now on eBay. you can even buy them at this point. Silicon cases. Leather Pouches, Screen Guards etc
Be careful on eBay as IPhone related domain names are also on sale and many of them are $499 (IPhone price)so some of us without having a closer look just may tend to buy it off.

As the days are passing buy the excitement is simply growing. Almost all popular bloggers are upbeat about the Iphone. Every little information about the IPhone has been given a lot of importance. Many of us may feel that the IPhone is an overly Hyped phone but the hype has been created by us and really not Apple (to a certain extent). Google, Yahoo, Youtube, Digg, Delicious, Stumble, Techcrunch, Gigaom, engadget, Cnet etc. one can imagine their Reach & Power. You can almost everyday find a new article on these websites relating to the IPhone. so thats free marketing for Apple. so many users are making new ads relating to the Iphone. users are also excited.
there are many critics no doubt but the number of well wishers owerpower them.
The phone is not the best phone in the world nor is it very advanced its just an Apple product after the success of IPod thats doing the trick.
Like the beginning of our article said you can hate them, love them but cant ignore them.
